Martin Kristensen and I have started scenario U39 - The Clearing. I am the defending Germans, and Martin is the advancing Americans. Looks to be a fun, low counter density affair with a lot of HIP for the defenders.

The Poles (Tom Arnold) eeked out a win by the narrowest of margins against the Germans in AP-8 Bloody Harvest. Carlos played like a grizzled veteran and is to be feared in the future.
This small unit action had some large momentum swings as there were numerous improbable occurences.

Jeff Buser's Germans attacked Will Fleming's Poles in NEWS25-Under Fire. My 9-2 and his MG nest swept all who stood in their way off the hills, but my advancing troops still had to contend with some nasty harassing fire OBA across open ground. At the most crucial juncture even this was lost to the defense however and there was no stopping a German victory on Turn 4. Thanks to Will, squeezing in some time before work halfway across the world, for an enjoyable game.

Kenneth Knott and I finished our matchup of Drive the Canadians Hard. I had a crack ATG crew that fended off the advance and managed a win. Thanks to Ken for a good matchup.

Steffen Knippel's Brits are attacking Ivan Kent's Germans in J138 Point To Make.
Same scenario as the only other time we played each other, almost 6 years ago. Variable OOBs make it eminently replayable.
Perhaps it's the only one we'll ever play.

Rick Carter and Ricardo Garcia will be playing in the fields of East Prussia, with the Germans (Ricardo) trying to regain control of an important crossroads to stop the Soviet (Rick) advance against the Army Group North, with the help of some newly deployed JagdPanzer IVs!

Hi, in J59 'Friday the 13th', Rick Carter's Russian Army couldn't stop Ricardo's German forces, and Rick conceded the scenario. It was a good game and well played by Rick.

And winner! David defeated me in the final game. We played J59 "Friday the 13th", and David dominated the game from the first turns. One of us will post here an AAR after the holidays, but don't expect too much: My bad placement of the only AT gun left Dave's armor free to operate very soon. Congrats Dave for your third tournament!
