Ok, this is a pretty noob question, but I'm sort of a noob, so...

Could find nothing on the search, besides some broken links to old GS threads, unfortunately. Nothing that I could find on the Perry Sez, either.

Does a leader who is declaring CX give up his ability to donate IPC?

Say I have a squad with a 5PP SW, stacked with a leader. If the squad declares CX and moves with the leader, who does not declare CX, then the squad would have 4+2(ldr)+2(CX)-2(Portage)=6 MF. Right?

Now lets say the leader also declares CX. In the above situation, would the squad lose the leader's portage bonus (since the leader's IPC is theoretically now 0), lowering its MF to 5?

Note that there is no real reason to declare the leader CX here, other than if it wants to move after dropping off the stack; ie to use all of its 8 MF.

Thanks for the help!
