Current State of PO2

Hi,

I've bought Po2 3 years ago and have not played it recently....how is the state of the simulation in general?....I've read there is a kind of map generator available.....but I did not get fully what you can do with it....is it random generation or design of a new map?

Especially I'd like to simulate a CVN (carrier) air group, supporting a ground mission with stuff like electronic warfare and so on....do you think this is possible now?

It is.. I would download the update from HPS site... just came out a few weeks ago.
It still runs a bit slow, but with not too many units on a side, something like what you are talking about is doable.
The map editor is part of that update as well, and is a bit tough to master I think, but seems not too bad once you get the hang of it.

Any solution to that ...did not see an instruction on the web page.
