Creating Maps?

First, hi all im new here and new to DA. Iv tried to create maps and im not sure where im going wrong but my maps based on scand ONC maps will not appear in the game, just a black space? i created maps the same size as the maps used already both jpeg and BMP. Do i need to use TPC scale, is ONC to much? i used photoshop to create them, could that be the problem? Where im i going wrong here?

FIRST game, spent a few hours setting up first move, hit the turn button...Run time error 76...CTD! not the best start ah! tell me it gets better?

What is your file name for the map? Does it have spaces? I had the same problem, renamed the file eliminating the spaces, problem solved.

If you've downloaded the updates, you'll need to create an AAR folder in the DA Folder. This may be the cause of your CTD.
