Hi all,
would appreciate Kate some help in focusing our thoughts around cowering and leadership direction.
The situation is:
a multi hex fire group rolls doubles and is thus subject to cowering. One of the hexes making up the fire group contains a 8-1 leader that was designated as participating in the fire group, the other hex of the fire-group has no leader.
The leadership modifier does not apply to the fire as there is not a leader in each hex of the fire group, however, how does this leader effect cowering?
We think the following:
Any confirmation would be appreciated

We think the following:
- the whole attack cowers even though part of it is under leader direction.
- random selection is used on the hex that does not contain the leader to establish which unit within is marked with a final fire, the remaining units are marked with a first fire (unless a SW with retained ROF)
- the hex with the leader are marked with a first fire (unless a SE retained its ROF).
Any confirmation would be appreciated
