It's much more fun to read about Patton's ideas for invading Sicily than it is to read about staff planning and logistics for the operation.
Well, I would rather read about the staff planning and logistics for a modern operation than Patton's plans for invading Sicily. :halo: From my (very limited) perspective, logistics determins what COA you can take. I would love to be able to land 2 Corps in North Korea on Day 1 of "Operation People's Liberation of Imperialistic South Korea" (or whatever title Kim Jong Il thinks up), but, unforunatly, it would be logisically impossible. So I have to formulate my strategy using the one light brigade available.
