Anyone having problems getting the module to run? I've copied the files into a folder in my VASSAL folder, click on the windows exe file and get the following error message: ' Could not find the main class. Program will exit.'

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

I'm running XP with all the latest updates.

Cheers

hi,

I'm on a mac and get a similar error:
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/vassalengine/Main"

I wrote the module author yesterday but have not heard back yet.

Hi Morgan

Got mine to work. Ensure the files are extracted into the folders specifed in the winzip file. The main folder can be called anything you feel like. Clik on the exe file and it should work.

Simple really.... I feel as if I have had another Homer Simpson moment.

I now have another problem. After upgrading my MB, processor and memory I can no longer load my current save game file. I load it and I get the choice of Observer, solitaire or US.. I need the German...

Sent an e-mail to Tim but no reply as yet.

Cheers

For Mac users with difficulty launching. I made a goof by renaming the .sh file with spaces in it. Just rename the file to something like cc.sh and then run it in terminal > sh cc.sh

Paul did you get my email on version/pw compatability? Did you get around it?
