I'm not sure that we need black SS counter as all the SS OOB (in blue) will be included into the next HASL about Budapest...

I'll like to have some more news about this counter from Chas as soon as he can say something about that!

I may be jumping the gun and I am not sure if any TPP is contemplating producing SS counters. If they are, please make them the traditional German blue/gray. I really don't need or want more duplicate counters to deal with. Plus, it would mean duplicating all of the vehicle counters, too. More needless expense and space. JMHO.

I noticed Chas' avatar too. I'm dead curious what it comes with and what comes with it!

We need black SS counters to piss off the sensitive types and to fight political correctness. You can certainly use the blue counters, but they don't offend anyone and are boring. :p:nuts::laugh:

I don't mean to be contrarian for contrarian's sake, but this particular "full colour" MMC counter is the least interesting or appealing one that I've seen. I think the black background does not work -- making the artwork look fuzzy and sloppy.

Just my two cents.

The black background does pose challenges from a graphics standpoint as black on white always looks crisper than white on black, even though there is no difference in the graphics quality of either. This is what that same counter looks like in German blue.

This is actually the main reason I dislike black counters.
