Guys I need help with this one, not sure if I've been doing it right or not!

Situation:
An AFV moves into a concealed unit's hex. The unit decides to drop concealment voluntarlly thus avoiding the PAATC, which he could have taken at that time, to CC reaction fire at the AFV.

Now it is the CC phase, does the unit have to take a PAATC to attack the AVF in the CC phase, or is CC automatic?

P.S. Thanks to all for answering my questions :)

No, a unit never has to take a PAATC in the CCPh - except when it wants to advance into the Location of an AFV.

There are generally three rules forcing a unit to take a PAATC:

1) To Advance into a Location containing an enemy AFV (A11.6)
2) To remain concealed when an enemy AFV enters the units's Location (A12.41)
3) To conduct CC Reaction Fire (during the enemy MPh) (D7.21)

But for a unit in the same Location as the AFV, there's no requirement for a PAATC during the CCPh. A11.6 even says: "Once in the same Location with an enemy AFV during the CCPh, no further PAATC is necessary in order to attack it during CC".
