That was my attempt to donate to a better quality of scotch for the opening toast.
Know your Charter! I am expressly required to provide 12-year old scotch. What I did last time was a clear Charter violation; it would be 9-0 from the Supremes. I make no apologies; to bring about the revolution we must undermine social values one rule at a time! But while that is happening, this year's scotch will be Charter proof.

As a first-time participant in CASLO, I intend to arrive with a fine single malt that I hope to share with my fellow attendees.
I'm thinking that Dalmore 15 would be appropriate.
Edit to add: I am NOT trying to get the TD out of his commitment :p

I found a good, cheap flight so count me in. I will be registering in due course. I might also be looking for a roommate so send a PM to me if you are also interested in sharing room costs.

That is great news. Add a day to visit the Canadian War Museum, if you like that sort of thing.

Registration for CASLO is at 25 and climbing. Looks like a strong turnout this year. Register soon to make sure you get a place.

Early-bird discount ends April 15.

If you want a hotel room, I suggest you book it soon. Long weekend up here.

Scenario Information Packages now available to Registered Players.

Just a quick systems check . . . .

Anybody who has registered/paid for CASLO who hasn't received an email from "caslomailbox" with links to the scenarios and tourney info?

If that means you, (1) check your junk mail and trash, (2) if still no joy, message me.

I've only been going since 2013 so I am not sure either. Pretty sure its the biggest in that time frame.

And more coming. . . . got wind of a couple more registrations on the way. . .

I heard that one year Winnipeg had more than 32 players (not much more) when a number of Americans came up from the mid-west. That might have been the year that Rich Summers won. Montreal reached 32 players in 2016.

I assume it will not be a problem but I will be arriving at CASLO with only the Rat Pack, ASLRB and info counters. Interestingly, the Bitter Ender here in North Carolina has formed a "Reserve Army" of boards, counters, rules books, etc. that we bring each year for attendees who are flying in. Of course, we do not change locations as does CASLO but it helps from time to time when players have not brought a full kit.

No problem at all Ray. Our system is a little more informal than Bitter Ender's but achieves the same result. I have been going to CASLO's since 2013 and am not aware of anyone not being able to play due to lack of counters or maps.
