Can the Germans win at "Ham and Bloody Jam"?

I was the Germans in 2 playings of Ham and Bloody Jam to prepare for the Pegasus Bridge Campaign game and both times I got my butt handed to me.

We then started campaign game 1 and just decided to give the Bloody British the far side of the bridge by leaving the AT gun crew by them selves and save as many men as possible for the later stages. Low and behold 2 out of three gliders crash taking out 4 squads and a leader. I ended the first night in great shape for night 2.

I welcome any ones thoughts and recommendations for night 2.

my strat for night one as the Germans: these sqds are expendable. Do everything possible to prevent the British getting too far on night 1.
So, I put almost everything on the East bank (save a nasty 9-1, sqd and LMG for the mandatory bridge FL)

Result: Brits only had 3 of the 4 buildings on the west bank when scen ended. this left him very weak for the massive counterattack of night 2, which pushed the brits literally off the map.

IOW, that is my advice for you now: attack relentlessly in night 2.
