Hi All

well I may have muffed it :nuts:

I went out and ordered VaeVictis - a subscription and two years worth
I did it because they have an English translation website now!
They are fantastic looking Magazines :smoke:

but>>>>

I cant read French to save myself (ignorant Aussie) :crosseye:

Is there an English translation for these scenarios?
Or would anybody out there be able to help? :horse:

Try buying a French-to-English dictionairy. It isn't fast, but there is not a lot to translate in a scenario. :D

I'd hang around the VASL mainroom and chat to other folk from europe. Your're almost bound to come across a french speaker eventually.

What I do is scan the text that creates a text image and drop the text into one of those goofy internet translators. After that I use a dictionary to clean it up to where I can really understand it.

Lars Thuring put me on to a Russian software and now I am spared hours of typing easy text by hand. Still it needs cleaned up by someone who knows the language at least a little.

Normally VV scenarios houldn't be too difficult to understand, as most of the "technical" vocabulary remains the same from French to English.

Tour = turn
Entrent au tour xx = enter on turn xx
Les EC sont humides/sec = EC are wet / dry
etc.

What exactly are the sort of sentences you cannot grasp in the scenarios ?
