Can comic books be good movies?

I have seen extended promos for the film on HD Net and it appears better than the original. I'm not a big fan of movies based on comic books, but I thought Spiderman was the best one of the genre, so Spiderman 2 has some appeal. I hope they get Kirsten Dunst wet again..................

I have to agree with that last sentiment...

My kids are total Spidey freaks (The classic Spiderman cartoon from back when I was a brat are their favs), so I'm going to be taking the herd...
