There are a few instances where the French cavalry either is missing the lancer designation for the unit or the graphic does not show the lance. Here are a few of them:
French Eclaireurs front rank had lances and so I coded the units as such (L type). However, the graphic shows a sword.
There were combined cavalry units in the La Rothiere and Champaubert scenarios that are lancers but are coded as having a saber. The image shows a lance. The unit uses a saber in the game instead of a lance. Since so few of these exist I rate this as a low grade issue for your current game play.
