I have just got the game today :cheeky:

But as I was trying the tutorialgame, I got this message:

'c++ exception' and
'access violation at address 01000000 Read of address 01000000'

I do not know, if I did something wrong, or maybe it is nothing?

(Sorry, english is not my 1. and not even my 2. language, but hopefully you understand my issue)

Odds are, you did nothing wrong. A number of people have complained of C++ exception errors with POA-2. I think (I could be wrong) the majority of the people getting C++ exception errors use Windows XP for the operating system and the game was primary tested on Windows 2000 since that is what the US Air Forces uses.

It is reported that the first patch will fix the C++ exception errors.... apparently.

In contrast, I use Windows XP and I just got the game the other day and have played the tuitorial scenario twice to conclusion and did not get C++ exception errors, so go figure.

Still, I don't think it is you doing anything wrong....

I guess I've been lucky so far as I have only had one C++ error so far. I believe the patch will fix the majority of these.
