Yeah, thats what I was saying. Here is what I see-

Take, for example, Doom 3. It was shipped to the stores early, and then held for the ship date. If a company (like gamestop/eb games) could work out the legal arrangements, they just offer a service to let people preload the game, then they would be able to play it the day it is released. This way, people not near a store could get it easily, and it would just be more convienient. If the retailers could adapt, I think they could survive.
