As if we needed the Tarantino-inspired version of Brothers in Arms :

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4

Speaking of torture porn (see the Grog Guilt thread), I am really getting tired of these crass titles. Bulletorm, Duke Nukem, now this - is shooting our enemies no longer enough? Now we need to score bonus points by creatively dismembering them too?

Yeah, this is gonna help the long-term reputation of gaming. The industry is doing little more than adapting the worst traits of Hollyweird.

Looks like a piece of sh*t. I only played the first BIA game and really liked it (heckuva learning curve) and thought they'd do some more Europe or give a go at the Pacific. But wtf!?

Scheisse.

Well i don´t really get it. First they create an IP with three installments and then throw it totally overboard by doing a game that only has the time setting in common? Why not launch it as its own IP? Is it really just a "We will reach a much wider audience with the new game and probably get 20% of the original buyers"-thingy? Gimme a gripe, in the end it just shows that they don´t have the confindence to launch it under its own IP.

RIP BIA

Ironically if that's the case I'm pretty sure if they launched a new game that played and had all the feel of the previous three it'd sell surprisingly well. But talk about slinging cr@p in your fan's faces.

I hope that it's not BiA. Hell's Highway was awesome and leaved such an open ending that begs for continuation.

And frankly, when I want to have nazis drowning in their blood and viscera, this is why I have Wolfenstein on my shelf.

Visited the Ubisoft BiA forum, looks like Failed Four is discussed the most, and developers should really consider whether to release this game on the BiA title or withdraw, cause there were no positive post regarding the game.

At least they've spared the main BiA characters. There is no Matt Baker, or Butt Maker as he would probably be called in F4.

There is a realism mod for the version prior. Just get that and forget the zombie apocalypse inglorious bastards shark attack version.
