Next up for consideration: Fanatic black SS

My approach to showing a unit as Fanatic is to make the Morale number white:

However, this doesn't work for black SS, as all values are white. So how about this:

(the colour for the 9 is the same as for regular German counters)

That blue works perfect with those counters, very easy to read and it really looks good. I was thinking about the 'x' on the back of the SW counters. If the white X could be tooned down then the same blue would work Fine

that German blue morale number works really well with the Black SS counters, nicely done :D and the white morale for other fanatics really does look good with those Americans

White does work for every non-black counter. Blue looks great for the black SS.

Bumping this thread and hoping for an update.
Meanwhile I have been cutting and pasting his work from ASLOK and will post pics of the counters in action. So far so good!

I've been quiet as there hasn't been anything new to report.

I'm continuing the edits to counters prompted by feedback at ASLOK. It's tedious work, but I'm very pleased with the improvements.

When I have something tangible - specifically, a printed, die-cut sheet of counters - in my hands, I will report on it. I had hoped that would happen last Friday, but was then told this Tuesday. So I'll wait until I have something.

Sorry.

I am SO looking forward to having the finished product. My "pasteups" have proved satisfying for now and the finalized counters will be what I use from here on out. Keep up the great work!
