Looks to be a TT-33 Tokarev to me.Great photo!
I wish I knew the story as to how these men came in to possession of the Browning P-35.

Definitely not a Tokarev.Looks to be a TT-33 Tokarev to me.
Great...when will they see the light of day...and appearance on my mapboards?
Well, the Inglis company in Canada made the Browning Hi-power for the Commonwealth, Allies and the Chinese Nationalist Army during the Second World War. Likely a number were shipped as part of lend-lease, or made their way from China to the Soviet Union. Wouldn't be too difficult for them to eventually make their way into the hands of partisans.Definitely not a Tokarev.
The shape of the slide release, the large adjustable rear sight, and the shape of the hammer clearly identify this pistol as a Browning P-35/High Power 9mm.
On a Monday.Great...when will they see the light of day...and appearance on my mapboards?
FN in Belgium continued to crank them out for the Germans, (I’m sure they didn’t have much choice.). And then, after fall ‘44, for the Allies. So, this one might well have been taken from a German…. Being proofed, printed, cut and mounted. Others clip their counters, I make new counters! Once prepared, pics of their use in play will appear here and on FB. BG also is experimenting with admin counters. He had released his fun "LAFF" counter sets and soon may offer his redesign of the official admin counters. Excuse the bad pic, check the ASL FB pages for better "in action" shots.
A lighter shade of brown or a tan colour I think for the N Korean. You can keep the same colours for the UN and S Korean forces. You could use the same colours as your Chinese Mao guerrillas for the Red Chinese.Suggestions, please.
Might I also suggest that you half the number of fanatic squads and half squads that you include in each set? One will never use that many unless there is a Stalingrad SSR that says all units are fanatic in buildings.Suggestions, please.
Well, outside of HASLs, how many scenarios require 26 squads.Might I also suggest that you half the number of fanatic squads and half squads that you include in each set? One will never use that many unless there is a Stalingrad SSR that says all units are fanatic in buildings.
Just replace half the fanatics with regular squads. You should include 26 squads of each of the type vice the 20 you currently include.
Well, based on people's rolling of snakeyes...how many people need 10 fanatic squads of every squad type?Well, outside of HASLs, how many scenarios require 26 squads.
