British LMG 2-7 vs. LMG 2-8

I am setting up DFTB's Operation Turnscrew as the British and pulling in VASL my at start forces.

All my physical components are in a secure storage facility. The British in VASL have two types of LMG a 2-7 and a 2-8, which should I use?

I vaguely remember the 1 PP LMG 2-7s, but its been 10 years, so which is which and where did the 2 PP LMG 2-8 come from?

Isn't the 2-8 part of Forgotten War (Korea module)?

I believe the counter is supposed to represent the M1919A6 Browning .30 cal.
