Interesting Snippet:

Since 1945, according to the British Legion, 2,755 British servicemen and women have been killed in combat - the bulk of them in Korea, Ireland, Malaya, the Falklands and Palestine - with many more injured. Forty-seven died during the 1991 Gulf war, most as the result of 'friendly fire' incidents like the A10 attack on the Fusiliers.

As far as I was aware in Gulf War I, the Iraqi's failed to kill any British troops in ground combat.
