Playing J66 Sound Retreat and first time using Carriers. The Carrier B has an ATR MA but also shows -/-/2 for MGs. Does this mean that the ATR is mounted on an AA mount with 2FP vs infantry or is there a separate AAMG.

They are separate weapons. The MA on the British Vehicle Listing chart [H50, note 64(2)] is listed as a BATR (bow-mounted ATR), and it also has a two FP AAMG.

Can the ATR and the AAMG of the Carrier B be combined in an OVR like AAMG/IFE can be?

The ATR has no IFE even though it can fire at infantry as small arms. Per D7.11 it should not count because it is not MG nor IFE.

FWIW the Bren on Carrier B was located on a pintle accessible by troops in the passenger compartment, the ATR was mounted in the co-drivers position, hence its inclusion as a bow mount.

True and an ATR should NEVER be allowed to form in a Fire Group with another type unit at all as the only SW allowed to FG with the inherent FP of a Squad is a MG (A7.351) regardless of the fact that an ATR may be able to fire as Small Arms. In the case of Vehicle MG/IFE weapons, these may FG per A7.51 & D3.5 but makes no mention of including Small Arms fire, from either a Squad/HS, inherent SW or ATR (See Index for Small Arms). The only other type of FG that can be formed to the best of my knowledge is with with Passengers/Riders/Infantry, their allowed SW (i.e. MGs) and Vehicular MG/IFE capable weapons fired as non-ordnance from a carrier/armored-halftrack (D6.64). In as much as an ATR may not form a FG with other units at any time (though one might be inclined to think this this simply because it may fire as Small Arms-the same as the inherent FP of a squad), there should be no thought it could combine with MGs of a carrier/armored-halftrack.

C13.24 allows an ATR to be part of a fire group, but only out to 12 hexes as it has no long range capability.
