We are playing RB.

In one of the scenario days an interior factory wall is breached, in the refit phase at the end of this campaign day some fortified buildings are purchased and one is placed in an internal factory hex against the wall with the breach.

In the next campaign day what is the effect of the breach with respects to the fortified building.?

A fortified building cannot be entered if it contains a GO unit without the hex side first being breached but the hex side is breached but it was prior to the fortified building being present.

Does the fortified building have to be breached a second time across this hex side to allow entry? meaning manual recording of which breach effects what, wall or fortified building.

My initial thought is that the fortified building would need to be breached as well but not sure any clarification would be appreciated

Regards

Simon

My guess is that since the breach counter is left on the map in the RePh, that hexside is already breached, even into a later-created FBL.

The thick wall has been breached. Now that building location is like any other one, at least through that hexside. So you could enter the location following the normal rules to enter fortified building locations.

But you would think that if you were fortifying the building the breach would be covered up not just leave a gap all other access to the hex when it is fortified are effectively blocked off

Probably - in real life - if af all possible. But I don't see anything in the rules indicating anything like that.

Now you know that won't discourage the younger ones, they live for danger.
The old soldiers, on the other hand, will very very carefully go around.
