Hi -

I am reading a book that mentions POW camps in the UK for captured axis troops during WW2.
Are there any books on this topic that forumites could suggest?
Bonus points for oral history endeavors.

From Prisoners of War, Ronald H. Bailey, in the Time-Life World War II series

Prisoners of War said:
Until the last months of the War, the British--and Commonwealth forces--held relatively few Axis POWs in the British lsles. Germans in particular seemed to pose security problems, and as early as 1940, when Great Britain was threatened with Nazi invasion, the British started shipping German prisoners to Canada.
The Germans started to be kept in Britain in larger numbers starting after the invasion of Normandy. There's only brief mentions of British camps in the book. It is mostly focused on allied prisoners in axis hands, and prisoners in the United States.
