I've been having so much fun with BC2, that I am finding myself interested in some other shooters. Black Ops looks like it is going to have some cool ideas:

I was never a fan of the original CoD multiplayer. I hated the sound design (all the weapons blended into an indistinct roar, something made worse by repetitive pre-canned voice announcements and scripted air strikes). I also didn't care for the gameplay which seemed to be little more than a chaotic gang fight where the name of the game was not to control a map (as in Battlefield) but to just kill as many people as you can before the timer runs out.
I hope Black Ops is a big improvement.
