Hello:
I have questions about the movement costs for crossing Crest Lines in Biazza Ridge where slope artwork indicates Hillocks. I would appreciate any corrections to these costs.

Infantry
Moving up-slope (onto Hillock): COT
Crossing RED Crest Line: COT
Crossing BLACK Crest Line (normal Hill Crest Line): 2xCOT
Crossing BLUE Crest Line (BR2.1 Sum of RED+BLACK): COT + (2xCOT) = 3xCOT

Fully Tracked and ht
Moving up-slope (onto Hillock): 1MP + COT
Crossing RED Crest Line: 1MP + COT
Crossing BLACK Crest Line (normal Hill Crest Line): 4MP + COT
Crossing BLUE Crest Line (BR2.1 Sum of RED+BLACK): (1MP + COT) + (4MP + COT) = 5MP + 2xCO

EX1: Infantry crossing BLUE Crest Line into brush = 3x2MF = 6MF
EX2: ht crossing BLUE Crest Line into Vineyard = 5MP +4MP = 9MP

Thanks for your help.

Regarding the BLUE Line we should say better that "... is the sum of the extra cost for moving..." so for Infantry is 2xCOT and for Fully Tracked is 5MP+COT. I will add it to the errata.

Hello:
I believe this is implied in your answer, but to get explicit confirmation, the cost for crossing a RED crest line from a lower hillock elevation to a higher elevation are correct in my original question in the table above. Crossing a RED crest line cost is identical to entering a hillock hex from a lower elevation (F6.3).
Thanks in advance,
B

Correct. We put the new sentence of 2.1 in the official errata on AF website.
