Skipped over the new Italian Guns!95259526
4a. Cannone da 25/72 AT: This is the Canon Antichar de 25 SA-L mle 34 (French Ordnance Note 5). Several were captured in North Africa and pressed into service. Although heavier than the issued ATR (Italian Ordnance Note 3) it was found to be easy to use by troops trained on that weapon.
Having been designed to be towed behind horses, it was found that the gun could not withstand athe stresses of a vehicular tow so was normally carried en portee.
† This gun may be fired while en portee.

5a. Cannone da 75/43 AT: Some 138 of the 7.5cm PaK 40 (German Ordnance Note 10) were exported to Italy.
The first batch of 24 pieces arrived in Italy in March 1943, delivered to Bologna , with these were formed into 4 groups, two in Sicily and two in Sardinia . Subsequently guns sufficient for another 6 groups and 42 pieces destined for coastal defense in Greece and the Aegean were supplied.

11a. Cannone da 88/27 ART: Several 25 pounder (British Ordnance Note 13) guns were captured and pressed into service. Although the gun was not that well suited to the terrain in the desert, as the soift ground tended to cause the platforms to bedn and buckle with the shock of firing, the lack of organic artillery meant that captured pieces were commonly used.
