22a. M55 12.7mm AA Gun:
This is the lighter, air-transportable version of the M51 Multiple .50-cal MG Carriage (American Ordnance Note 22).
Although not widely used during WW2, it became the standard during the Korean War and later.

5a Chaffee(a):
Chaffees (M24, American Vehicle Note 6) were supplied in limited numbers under the Lend Lease program with some 300 being delivered before the end of the conflict. They were used in 1945 in Europe by, amoung other formations, the 7th Armoured Division (Reconnaisance Squadron) where they performed the same role that the now outdated Stuart tanks had performed. At least 2 were lost in combat in April 1945.

8a M11/39(i) & M13/40(i):
These represent M11/39 and M13/40 (Italian Vehicle Note 7 & Note 8) captured and pressed into service. Some vehicles which had been captured were painted with large white Kangaroos by Australian forces and pressed into service against Italian forces, at least one of which was recaptured by the original owners. The Australians pressed these vehicles into service in 3 companies named Dingo, Wombat, and Rabbit respectively.
In East Africa, at least one M.11/39 was reused by the South Africans against Italian forces. The 12 tanks of Company 321 were all lost at Agordat by the end of March 1941 meaning that, by the end May 1941, only the Allies were operating Italian M.11/39’s on the African continent.
Over 100 M13/40s were captured at Beda Fomm. Some equipped the British 6th Royal Tanks and the Australian 6th Cavalry.
