37b SPW 251/1(g):
This represents the SPW 251/1 (German Vehicle Note 63). Many halftracks were captured during the fighting on the Eastern Front. The mobility they supplied was valued so after the first few had been sent for assessment, formations that captured them tended to keep them for their own use. Often the main armament would be stripped out as ammunition was not available but the vehicle worked well as a prime mover or armoured supply courier. In 1943, the 53rd Guards brigade had almost 30 German halftracks on its official strength.

41a SU-105(g) & SU-150(g):
These represent PzA II (German Vehicle Note 81) and PzA III/IV (German Vehicle Note 83) captured and returned to action against their former masters. Only small numbers were repurposed in this way but sufficient to group 6 in a separate Self-propelled Gun Regiment of the 27th Army and a further 15 of the SU-150, SU-105 and SU-75 in the 366th Guards Self-propelled Artillery Regiment in 1945.
