Ok this could be a problem if you play a game with mixed counter... because the opponent could know looking at the edge of the counter, what you have under the concealment!
I'd to paint with gray all the side counter! LoL

Bah who care, i win anyway rolling low.
I don't think it should make a difference.... but maybe there is an example of when it might make a difference [what about two examples :)]. If the white edge were to be material intelligence on counter information then there is likely an easy work around--like Pleva's(?) wooden prism HIP unit holder--for critical white counters...at the players option... no ASLRB item needed just common sense.

Best regards,:salute:
John

Coat your hands with used motor oil. Then after playing about 10 minutes, you can not tell the difference.

1) Coat your hands with motor oil. 2) I won't know the difference after ten minutes of playing with what? Oh wait, don't answer that please.
I was just gonna grap a #2 pencil and color in the edges myself to see if it looks okay.
I don't think there would be a major issue with vehicles/guns, but there cuold be with 1/2" stacks. We'll see what the consensus is.

Another ASLer and I have a running joke about bringing Cheetos and BBQ Spareribs over whenever the other guy is hosting an ASL night.

I do not own this product, so my opinion probably doesn't count. It's not because I don't support BFP, my funds are just extremely limited.

That being said, whatever you do, stay with the hobby afterwards. BFP is about the rolls royce of TPP in this community. DO NOT let a percieved flaw drive you out of the hobby. Steve is still missed. You guys are awesome, white core or not.

Should a company strive for perfection? Sure. Are you going to get there all the time? No way. WHEN that happens, if it can be corrected, great! If not, move on and work at doing better next time.

Oh, this is by no means a deal breaker for me. I will continue to buy BFP products no matter how this small issue is handled.

Count,

This is not something that would drive us out of the hobby. No one complained. More accurately we want to provide the best possible product and this was self-initiated. Any type of reprint is a financial loss situation; however, we want to provide the best products possible.

The core color is not a game breaker and is not a defect. You should not allow yourself to take a financial loss just for core color.

Steve is right on. This is not the kind of error that needs to be fixed at BFP's expense. If you want to "fix" it, at least break even.

Glad to hear it. I have seen the vast majority of your products at the house of a dedicated buyer. Your stuff is top-notch. Keep up the great work and hopefully, in the future, I'm rich and can buy TPP stuff the way I feel that it should be bought...in large quantities and from multiple sources - yours included.

I think BFP should produce the counters again (at some later date, when they get around to it) with gray core cardboard. Then, sell them (at cost) to those who have an issue with the white cores and who think that they really need those grays. That way BFP doesn't lose money, but no one is getting ripped off since it is their choice to spend the money for a second set of counters.
[Actually, the guy who doesn't want the white-core counters may make a boatload of money selling them on ebay in 10 years, when they are considered a real collector's item!]
