Who's the best Superhero or which is the best Superhero group?

For me, it has to be Spidey all the way. A great Superhero with a "real" person underneath.

I agree about Spiderman. Though I would have voted for Hellboy if you had him, for similar reasons (he can kick even more butt than Spidey).

Why? I dunno, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Prof. X....multiple mutants for multiple villains....

I'm saddened to find that my current favorite superhero is not on the list: Green Arrow.

Also missing is the weilder of the most powerful weapon in the universe, Green Lantern.

I voted for Spiderman because he is Superhero like Hero like no other. He was bitten by a radioactive spider and then gained super human strength. he also gained Spider abalites.

What I don't understand is that the Comic book spiderman had webshooter and the movie Spiderman had his built into his genitic structure!!

They got the genetic web-shooters from an alternative series of Spider-man comics set in the future.

When Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-man, first saw them he thought they were such a cool idea that he wished he'd thought of them for the original series of comic books.

Iron Man. Another super hero without super powers. All his physical abilities come from his suit. As I recall, he was a parapalegic, requiring the suit to be able to walk.

Then, of course, there is Dare Devil. He has super-sensitive hearing, but is it truly a super power? He also has many inner demons to combat.

It has been a long, long time since I read any Captain America. Besides his shield, strength, and strong moral purpose to defend truth, justice, ...(oh, that was Superman), what were his powers?
