Yet another movie genre as of yet untouched by the forums......
Here are my picks.

1) The Sting
2) The Hustler
3) The Color of Money
4) A Big Hand for a Little Lady
5) The Cincinnati Kid
6) Seabiscuit
7) Maverick
8) Every Which Way But Loose
9) Hard Times
10) Any Which Way You Can

I'm sure I've missed some good ones......

Those are good as isLittle Miss Marker (both versions). I still love the line in the 80s version.

Sorrowful Jones (Matthau) after hitting a crock with a roll of coins in his fist. I said a roll of quarters!

Regret (Bob Newhart) A roll of nickels was cheaper!

Would have to put The Hustler first. The Sting was really good, but The Hustler was great.
It's a near toss up for me.........Jackie Gleason is great as Minnesota Fats, he should have won an Academy Award for best supporting actor. It was so natural for him because he absolutely loved pool.

Written by Damon Runyon. Do yourself a favor and read some of his short stories.
