A friendly unit goes berserk during the enemy player turn and at that point is adjacent to an enemy unit.

During its movement phase the enemy unit moves out of LOS.

In the next friendly movement phase the berserk unit now has no enemy units in its LOS.

A15.46 says that the unit returns to normal at the END of its charge if there are no enemy units in its LOS, But this unit has not yet charged.- how is this applied?

A) the unit has no enemy in LOS at start of move phase so loses its berserk status and can move as it pleases normally.

B) the unit does not move as it has nothing to charge but at the end of the movement phase loses its berserk status thus loosing its normal movement.

C) it charges into the last known position of the previous adjacent enemy unit and then loses its berserk status

D) something else

Any clarification would be of great help

A15.431 Should the only Known enemy unit no longer be in his LOS in the interim, the berserk unit still charges toward the hex originally occupied by that unit. If it still sees no Known enemy unit, it ends its move after entering that Location, and the berserk status is removed at the end of that current phase.

The answer is a modified "C" - it does not lose Berserk status until the end of the current phase.
