Berserk or Not?

Hi

In the German's rally phase one of my Russian leaders became berserk and managed to incite a squad to join him. Through the following German turn no units have moved within their LOS and now it is the Russian's MPh. They still do not have LOS to any German units.

Do they remain berserk for this MPh and run towards the German line, closest unit(s), or lose their berserk status because they have no LOS to any enemy units?

See A15.44 - if there was no German in LOS when the leader wanted to go Berserk, he becomes Battle Hardened instead. (Sounds like this is the case.) Squad will not BH, but could try to rally if broken with the (now improved?) leader.

If there was a German unit in LOS when they went Berserk but that unit is gone now, your leader & squad will charge toward the Location that German unit used to be (toward the end of A15.431).
