Did anyone ever develop BPV for SMCs and SWs for design purposes?

So here's a first run at German SMC BPV. I need to start someplace so I made the 7-0 equal to the 1st line MMC (10 BPV) and added +5 for each change in morale and leadership modifier:

6+1=5 BPV
7-0=10
8-0=15
8-1=20
9-1=30
9-2=35
10-2=45
10-3=50

So, my question is does this look right or should the BPV be doubled? This question is based on a 10-3 which is a game change, so is he really equal to a Pz IVD (50 BPV) or say a King Tiger (105 BPV)? Put another way, does his leadership and rally capabilities make him equal to 5 1st line squads (467) or 10? I also thing there should be a larger jump between a 9-1 and a 9-2.

The only comparison is a self-rally unit with a give BPV is a crew (127) with a BPV of 7. I second line squad (447) also has a BPV of 7. So a comparison of the two suggests the 127 crew is worth about 2.5 times the 447 in terms of BPV (the value between a self rallying unit and one that does not). This suggests doubling the SMC values above but this looks way out of proportion to the value of regular line units or is this really what they are worth in a game of "Squad Leaders" and their affect on the battle....
