It is very satisfying to have "Careless At Bakri" (first introduced six years ago here) see publication as scenario J201 in ASL Journal 13. Game results are already being reported on ROAR and the Scenario Archive. I'll be watching keenly for after action reports to learn more of the community's reception, because the Bakri story does not end with that firefight.

All contributors to the scenario's success deserve recognition, starting with the effort and encouragement iTom Morin and Carl Nogueira. Chas Argent, IWANAGA Hideaki, Bruce Probst and Andrew Rogers all invested in the design. Michael Rodgers and the keen-eyed Geoff Wessendorf provided proofing assistance.

Andrew Warland, patron of the 2/29th Battalion Association and grandson of Lt. Col. Robertson, lent his support and shared source material on the action.

Playtest salutes to Chas, Steve “Mister” Bond, John “Weatherman” Brown, Jeff Coyle, Zeke Crater, Jim “Breaker” Fardette, Dave “Clutch” Ford, Ivan “The Terrible” Kent, Darryl Lundy, Jackson “Tank Jacker” Kwan, Dan and Ted McGuire, JR Tracy, Steve Worrell and Jon Zug.

I can't possibly compensate all these folks for their effort, but hopefully this public expression of appreciation is some reward. Deepest thanks to you all.

More scenarios depicting the Battle of Muar are on the way. Watch this space.
