Hate Pillboxes.

You have a bunker situation with Trench in hex next to Pillbox. HIP Frog Leader with Radio in Pillbox, CX Itie Conscript squad in Trench.

Itie Turn APh:

1. When Itie squad Advances "into" Pillbox, does he "bounce" out to Trench or to top of Pillbox when HIP 7-0 Leader revealed?

2. If in Trench can he still CC the 7-0?

Now French CCPh and Itie on top of Pillbox(after a miserable failure to eliminate the Frog Leader in the Itie's CCPh):

1. Since not in Melee, does French Leader have to CC the Itie squad, or can he ignore it(and keep calling in the da*ned 120mm OBA)?

The picture is "Hollywood", the lone Frenchie(Beret on head pushed back, cigarette dangling from lower lip and a very chic black leather trenchcoat) on the phone calling in the art'y, whilst taking potshots with his pistol at ten dirty, disheveled Ities peaking thru the Pillbox's firing slits.

Notice to everyone: CC appears to be da Priest's one weak spot! ;)

30.8 says you may Advance "between the Bunker and trench as if the Bunker were a trench" so I'd say you are pushed back into the trench, not on top of the Pillbox. In all other situations--fortified building occupied by a squad, '?' stack containing real MMCS--the mover/advancer is always put back into the location they're attempting to leave. The 30.6 wording seems sloppy when applied to Bunkers: "CC is resolved normally between infantry units in and outside the pillbox." We should see "outside the pillbox" to mean "in the PB hex, on the same level as, but not in, the PB" or some such wording.
30.44 says that Target Selection limits(these include Spotters) don't apply for units inside the PB, so I'd say the leader may continue to call in OBA, too.

Hope this helps, what do you think?
