D14.21 states " If >=1 AFV in the same platoon is subject to Bog/Mechanical Reliability/Stall DR, then only one DR per condition is made for the platoon at the end of the impulse, before any Attacl. If Bog/Immobilization occurs Random Selection is used..."

B23.41 states "If the AFV rolls an original 6 on the colored dr of the Bog Check DR, the AFV has fallen through the floor to the cellar and is removed"

If a 2 AFV Platton enter the different hexes of a two he wooden building in the same impulse

1. Is this considered a single Bog condition entailing a single Bog DR with RS being used if Bog occurs?

If the answer to 1. is Yes

2. If a Bog occurs and a single vehicle is selected by RS and a 6 is rolled on the colored dr, is just the selected AFV for bog cellared or are both AFV Subject to cellaring

3. If no Bog occurs but a 6 is rolled on the colored dr are both vehicles cellared or is RS used to determine which?

Have put this through to Perry for consideration.

In all cases RS is used. Remember, with RS, there is a possibility that both tanks can be affected.

The RS only is stated to be associated with the bogging not the cellaring (it may be the intent to have ti apply to cellaring as well but this is not stated)

My logic is that since the cellaring is dependent on the bog DR, RS automatically applies to it.

Cellaring is derived from the Bog DR but can occur independently, if for example one rolls a 6 on the colored dr and a 1 on the white dr.
In this case there is no bog, and the rules say one uses RS "if Bog/Immobilization occurs" which has not in this case occurred while cellaring has!

You are right of course. I shall be happy to see what Perry's decision is on this.

You could amend your question to MMP and ask about Wire removal in a similar situation as well.

Well falling into the cellar is certainly a FORM of immobilization.

Sent as below

In addition (Ass suggested by Klas)

If a 2 AFV Platoon enter the different wire hexes in the same impulse

4. Is this considered a single Bog condition entailing a single Bog DR with RS being used if Bog occurs?

If the answer to 4. is Yes

5. If a 1 on the colored die results in a wire removal are both wires removed or is it RS as to which is removed

Perry's answer posted.

RS is applicable to all! (Which is easy to remember, and consistent :) )
