Hi!
May a unit be at crest level in the case of double-crest (in this case, 24G2-H2 hexside)?

I'd say yes as there seem to be no restriction in the rules...
Now, how much MF must expend an infantry unit on the crest counter in H2 moving to G2?
1MF (exit Crest status) + 2MF (move to higher OG level)?

In the middle of B20.91, it states: "Infantry in Crest status are considered entrenched one level higher than the Depression . . . " So, the way you have the Crest counter placed is legal; the Infantry in Crest status would be at the level of H1 or G3. Seems you've got the MF costs correctly calculated, too.

Thanks...
That is what I thought, though I have difficulties imagining a unit hung between level 1 and level -1.

I don't see any problem with that setup and the MF cost seemed correct to me also, but you would be in a world of hurt if your opponent decided to advance in G1, G2, or F2 then having a LOS INTO the gully thus negating your crest protection. The opponent would have the +1 height advantage modifier too.

Sure it is not a good place to be at...
The only reason would be to help moving to G2 at lower cost than from IN the gully...
