The link is dead... So I cant realy tell if I have seen it or not... :)

Since there is some reference to the Metaxas, I probably havent.

I have yet to find ANYTHING concrete about it on the net...

I guess it's because the link is contracted by the forum... try this:
www-online.shef.ac.uk:3001/mr-home/balkan/intro.html

I think I remember stumbling across this... and forgetting to save the link. Seems pretty good (of course, from a British University).

incidentally: "The strength of the Metaxas Line resided not so much in its fortifications proper as in the inaccessibility of the intermediate terrain leading up to the defense positions." Reminds one of the Ardennes.

In my browser (Opera, from Norway, Red!) I can click right on the link and get there. It seems like it wouldn't work only if you copied and pasted the link into the browser.

Stop contracting the links, Forum!

The website is British but the original publication is by

CENTER OF MILITARY HISTORY
UNITED STATES ARMY
November 1953

I saw a used copy at amazon.com for $4.

I'm not sure what you are cooking up, but it sounds interesting!
Well, yes I'm cooking up something but dont hold your breath. I'v got four month old twins at home, so my time to fiddel with TOAW is QUITE limited... :) Visiting these forums when at work is a different matter...

Anyway I must admit that this aint the first time I'm cooking up scenarios in TOAW, but my interest usually windel down after I finish the map, oob and to&e. I just dont seem to have the stomack to do the playtesting and balancing... Sorry...

But I love the reserch part and map making. And I love to play others scenarios... :)

I will probably atleast post the map this time, like goranw did with the barbarossa map. It would be cool to have some input on it. I'll even throw in the oob and to&e also for the fun of it, but playtesting and balancing... I doubt it
