As a newbie, learning hard the rules 8) , I have a question regarding the Assault Move. Would you say this sentence and example are correct :

Any infantry unit may expend it's full MF allotment during a movement phase in which it Assault Moves, provided that in assaut moving, the unit expends strictly less than its movement capacity for that movement phase.

For example, an assault engeneer unit Assault Moves to a Building Location (2MF), then throws smoke in it's hex (1 MF), then places a DC in an ADJACENT Orchard Hex (1MF) for a total of 4 MF.

Thanks

No, the unit cannot spend all of its MF. Assault Move (AM) is all movement during the unit's MPh, including both the physical movement as well as any actions during the MPh (e.g. placing smoke, recovery, etc.).
