good order means the unit isnt suffering from any adverse affects.

eg. Broken, pinned, under Task Intensive, i think CX. Disrupted

there are probably more, but the old Guard will know more than I

I can't claim to be part of the old guard, but I'm pretty sure I saw a Q&A somewhere that said they also have to have reasonably clean underwear and dry socks.

Textbook Definition from the ASLRB

Good Order (a Personnel unit or vehicular inherent crew which is neither broken, berserk, captured, stunned, shocked, or held in Melee; or a SW which is fully manned by a Good Order Personnel unit, and is not malfunctioned, or restricted by an Ammunition Shortage): A.7

Hope this helps,

Page 3, Middle column, 1/3 down the page:

Good Order: A personnel unit that is neither broken nor marked with a Melee counter.
Note that Doc_Martin_8404's answer was more restrictive than the actual definition. In the SK, if you aren't broken and you aren't in melee then you are in Good Order.

ZGrose has it right. Also look in the definition section (2.0) of the SK rules book.

There is a definition for Good Order there as well.
