Temporary room. The big room has a wedding. We move to the big room on Sunday.
Yes - we migrated to the big room this morning. The smaller space is just for Friday/Saturday so that early arrivers have a place to gather/play. Plenty of space for Saturday, but likely would be very cramped by the end of Sunday...

Just checked MMP website. Not even a hint of Journal 15 anywhere, there.

Curt mentioned during the last ASL Roundtable that they were shooting for an ASLOK release. If it needs more time in the oven, that's fine. Just trying to figure out my budget for the week.
J15 is missing ASLOK unfortunately. I don't know when to expect it (WO or earlier), but it will not be in Greater Cleveland unfortunately. But we can feel smart we didn't try to use any J15 scenarios in the minis at least...

bummer. I drove to ASLOK from Florida and arrived Saturday noon. Played one game and attended Daves Sunday evening party. Then.................I decided I had to drive back home Monday 17 hours with all the North Carolina road problems and Florida hurricane evacuation. Now back at home in Orlando waiting to battle hurricane Milton. I couldn't sit at ASLOK playing games knowing my wife was in the ring alone with that evil monster. Been here 40 years and this could be a century storm for us.

EDIT: 80mph winds and 15 inches of rain. Lots of brush cleanup, downed trees, power outages. In 40 years that is about as bad as it gets for Hurricanes here in Orlando. It was honestly looking much worse as a 100 year storm. Orlando is magically not hit that much by these things. I made the right decision at the time to drive back.

I know it does not help and I realize we do not know each other but you did the right thing. I am hoping the best for you and your family (as well as everyone else in the path).

Let us all hope that this is yet another in the list of "storm of the century" storms that are not as bad as they predict. Though I fear the worst.

I remember being super concerned when Andrew hit 30 years ago as I had family (father) directly in the path (south of Miami).

stay safe

Peace

Roger

Schwerpunkt 24 and Rally Point 21 will be released this evening (10/8/24) at ASLOK.

With category 3 strength Hurricane Milton headed straight for Tampa Group Headquarters, I advise anyone who wants SP24 or RP21, to get them while we are in Cleveland. After that, it may be a long time before our products are available.
This is no drill.

The night crew playing on Tuesday night. Also the tournament director's table.

Unfortunately, another year with no large vendors here to sell. I've only seen Schwerpunkt and Broken Ground selling anything.
