I finally got around to updating the ASLOK website with the info for this year's ASLOK. We're back at the Bertram in Aurora, OH which was well received last year. A reminder that folks staying onsite at the hotel is what allows ASLOK to happen by hitting our room numbers so if you need a room, staying on-site is greatly preferred to help cover the convention space costs.

Hotel info is on the flyer and on the main ASLOK page: http://www.aslok.org/index.html
You can book the hotel either by calling directly or via the link provided which goes through Wyndham. If you have trouble with either, just let me know and I can typically sort things out with the hotel. Do note the hotel did sell out totally for the final weekend last year between us and a wedding so reserving a room early if you think you may be able to make it is likely wise. You can always cancel the room later if you cannot make it for some reason.

Flyer is available off the pre-reg page: http://www.aslok.org/prereg.html

Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns/issues...

It looks very likely that this will be my return to ASLOK, and I hope to see some old friends and meet some new ones.
I played 21 scenarios last time - would like to make it at least 22 this time.
If the Browns have a game that week or weekend I'd be interested in going if anyone can hook me up with tickets....

As always best of luck with ASLOk and super grateful to you and Wild Bill for your time and efforts to keep it going!

As if anyone would root for a team named after a COLOR!!!!!
I prefer to think they were named after an elf like creature that would clean up your abode if you left it a treat. They were called brownies.

Btw no dog in this rivalry. We were from Pennsylvania and moved to Cleveland. Lol my Dad hated the Browns bitd when they were good, the Jim Brown days. I was never really a sports fan except for baseball bitd. This area of Northeast Ohio is about equally divided between Browns and Steelers fan.

Doug, maybe a selling point is that there’s actually quite a lot to do in Cleveland for those who may want to accompany you.
One year, my wife and I spent three days prior to ASLOK visiting tourist spots: their zoo, art museum and the Rock & Roll HoF.

Cleveland Museum of Art is outstanding and the bistro on the first level has great food, too. Plus there’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park all along the east side of the metro area. Hell, I’m from Pittsburgh and I sound like I’m from the Cleveland Convention and Visitor's Bureau. 😁
