ASLOK XXVII will be September 30th thru October 7th in Cleveland, Ohio in the year of 2012.

Flyers are available now for download (or pickup if you're at WO): http://aslok.org/prereg.html

That slacker of a TD even has the pre-reg list up already for a change! Still time to be #2 on the pre-reg list as no one has coughed up any cash at WO as of yet...
Bret,

The formatting on the Pre-Registered part of your website is not working correctly, it is being displayed as continious text. Check the table properties on this part of the web page.

Re: New Minis!

I didn't get a bounce, but haven't heard back from Bret. Perhaps he is wilting away in the heat.

Bad jokes aside, best of health to all (even TD's who have ruled against me every time, which doesn't include Bret....)

On a good note, my ASL re-organization is going well and I hope to have a tiny travel set ready for ASLOK. Prolly PTO only, but an improvement on past years.

Re: New Minis!

WOOT, one of the last pieces fell into place as I found a great roomie to split the costs with. Just need to get my skill up a bit and get into a good frame of mind.

Hope to see lots there taking advantage of Bret's hospitality and help boost the Cleveland economy a bit.

Re: New Minis!

I had planned on attending (for the first time, even though I lived in NE Ohio until 1988), but life intervened.

My better half decided to get bitten by a brown recluse spider. Had to make the choice between her leg rotting off or ASLOK. After the emergency room bill, the doctor visits on three consecutive days and the handful of antibiotic prescriptions, the ASL Fun Fund has been drained.

Better luck next year, maybe I can make it to Winter Offensive.

Have fun, post pictures.

Re: New Minis!

Are the ASLOK T-Shirts all the same color?
I think you touched upon the most important consideration in deciding whether to attend ASLOK or not. Another might be whether the Swedes will bring their famous bikini team along with them.

Interesting. I just got a 'permanently failed' notification from Gmail. I'm going to send again from another account.

How else does one know which to pack; his black jackboots or the brown field boots?:D

Re: New Minis!

Doug - at least one of your emails got through so you should be good - I just haven't made another run at catching up on pre-regs recently. As backup you can hit BretHildebran@gmail.com or PM me here if something is awry. I've never heard of my email bouncing though so you seem to be a singular point of failure near as I can tell.

Alan - Can you be more specific on what you're having trouble with? I just went to the pre-reg page (here) in FireFox and all is well. I've sampled it since the last upload in a couple versions of IE & Safari as well w/no issues. Knowing what browser you're using may help. I recently did switch my HTML editor so it may be some formatting changed which your browser doesn't like now. But I've mucked with it on at least 5 versions of relatively modern browsers lately and haven't seen a problem.

Chuck - typically all shirts are the same color although it usually depends on if the big sizes come in the color mix preferred. Typically we try to hit the counter color roughly to match the artwork although if we have to go esoteric colors, XXL and above or kid's sizes often need to be compromised some. I can also do special colors on request - I've done some hot pinks in kid sizes for those who wanted one for their daughter. Drop me an email if you have a special color request.

Are you actually having trouble with the actual pre-reg list? http://aslok.org/downloads/ASLOK_XXVII_PreRegs.txt

It displays that way because it is just a text file, just open up the window big enough & it should format fine. If it's another issue, please let me know.

I got your email - just woefully behind and haven't caught up on pre-regs. With some luck you'll get an email this week - although it may take a lot of luck. :(

Depends on how long tying up the baseball loose ends takes tonight. Last night was getting some stuff to Chas that I'd been neglecting/forgetting...

No worries then. This is good enough for me. Unless there is some kind of wierd anit-Brave baseball thing you are doing, good luck with it. :)

Very strange, I viewed it in Chrome, Firefox, & IE with no issues. I'm running the latest version of each.

I opened it in Firefox and its better (its no longer a run on), but. the columns are all screwy. Not a huge deal of course. But odd none the less.

Peace
