Well, I hoped name of Lukkari was not deeply foreign to the ASL community anymore...
Way back in 2004 I attended my first (and so far only) ASL tournament in US (Nor'Easter in MA) and my first opponent (I believe it was Gary Trezza but cannot remember for sure anymore) had seen my name in the list of people who ad pre-registered. He was genuinely surprised to find out I really existed, he had been sure that someone pre-registering from Finland was a prank pulled by the local players.

Of course I am a little concerned about my safety in the United States, now that Canada has been identified by the US government as an economic security threat.
Only after Bret confirmed to me that public feelings on the streets of Ohio were not yet openly hostile did I decide to book my Greyhound ticket.
Hoping I will be safe among my ASL-playing brothers, Democrats, Republicans and Trump supporters alike.
