ASL SK Page 13 last paragraph : "Only unbroken units may attack, but even broken units defend, although they suffer a -2 DRM to CC attacks against them."

I'm a bit puzzled but this, lets say I'm attacking an enemy hex that contains 1 good order MMC and one broken MMC. I want to attack both units at the same time...but according to the above quote from ASL SK rules...there will be two outcomes so essential I'm performing CC twice right ? Once against good order MMC and once against broken MMC...

Thanks..

Not quite say you have 4 FPs and the enemy sqds each have 4, one is broken.
He will have a 1:1 attack v's you since only the GO sqd can attack the brokies will just sit there. You will have a 1:2 attack against bith of his. say you roll a 5. This is no effect on the good order sqd but the -2 modifier is applied v's the brokie and eliminates it.
So yes you can have 2 different outcomes but you are only performing CC once.
Think of it as the same as shooting a stack where one of the units is carryijng a FT. Or in full rules where there are concealed and unconcealed units stacked.
