I already emailed these to Rob off-list (without comments), but I thought I'd
finally register on this forum instead of just lurking, and share them with the
rest of you. Here are my nominations, with added comments. I could have listed
several more worthy candidates.
Merzenhausen Zoo - I've often claimed this is my favorite scenario. Read my
analysis in the pages of Banzai 4.1.
In the Bag - Huge furball. Very popular despite its size, this one has a bit of
everything.
Smashing the 3rd - Way cool scenario highlighted by a very even tank battle.
Urban Guerillas - A tourney favorite for a long time now, a true classic.
Showtime - More innovative SSRs from Pete Shelling. A very fun scenario with more
options than usual due to the choices for sides, and bidding for the first move.
Many ways to tweak the balance if you feel one guy needs the edge. Great stuff.
Hill 253.5 - Small, but plays big.
Eye of the Tiger - This is a very well crafted tourney scenario, starting off with
a shelling of the village from a German ship, after which a tight battle is joined
with a Tiger trying to lead the assault and help protect the Pumas and MkIVs.
The Commissar's House - One of the first scenarios anyone plays (or used to back in
the day). I'll still play it at the drop of a hat.
Wintergewitter - Another small, tight tourney scenario that always seems to go down
to the wire. The German infantry force looks too small, but with all their armor
support they have just enough to do the job.
Jungle Citadel - A big nasty fight with lots of stuff going on, as a very powerful
Chinese force tries to overwhelm a smaller but very potent and entrenched Japanese
defender.
