Once again I am taking suggestions on new scenarios to be added to the ASL Scenario Hall of Fame (see Journal #4). Please send me up to ten scenarios that you think should be in the HoF. You can list them here (I am not on the ASLML) or send your suggestions to me at rwolkey@hotmail.com The scenarios must be published before 2002. So, any scenario published in 2001 or earlier qualifies.

Once I get all the scenarios the second round of voting will begin. I will post a list of all the scenarios with multiple votes. Each person can then vote for up to five scenarios. The Top 15 scenarios will make it to the final round. You will then vote YES or NO on each of those 15 scenarios you have played. If a scenario receives an 80% YES vote it will be admitted in the ASL Scenario Hall of Fame.

Please take this voting very seriously. I think the first set of HoF scenarios is an outstanding group of scenarios and I would like to see another stellar group added to them. Go ahead and discuss it in your forum/list/topic, but remember that you only get to send me up to 10 scenario suggestions. Thank you.

Why does it have to be a scenario published in 2001 or earlier (I don't have Journal 4)?

Thanks,

Nat

It is modeled after the NFL Hall of Fame. We don't want a flash in the pan where everyone is exited about it only to discover later that it has flaws once it has been played a few times.

No.

I would suppose for the same reason that baseball rookies are not voted to the hall of fame after thier first season (No matter how stellar a season it may have been)

Scott to answer your question, I dont think it has to be official, hmm on second thought, since an article might be published by MMP........

So 30 minutes earlier the person asking for the list says no, they don't have to be official. Yet you still feel the need to try and make this an MMP mudfight?

Your act is nearly as tired as Holsts.

Don't you read the posts sequentially? Otherwise how would you "follow" a conversation?

Hi Guys

That got to be the reason, Brian reads every single word and have never glanced over a text. This means we got to wait until 2069 before we get to see the next Journal. Not to mention AoO.

Brian, relax. If Jay did not see it he did not and that means someone else could have missed it as well. It was a stupid remark by Paul but most understood the intention.

I'm not defending anyone - I'm just sayin', I didn't see it either.

When I read through I sometimes scan - easy to miss a single word answer like "no" :)

ESCUSE ME?? I admit that I did miss the response from Wolkey that scenarios dont have to be official. I DONT believe my response was a slam at MMP. I commented on the fact that previously the HoF was an article in a MMP magazine. I think logic follows that you would want the scenarios to be official. That aint mud.

And I take umbrage to your last statement.

If you have a problem with my criticisms of MMP, please be more forthcoming with what they are.

I have no problems with anyone's criticisms of MMP, but when the dogpile starts I know where to find your posts.

If you in fact missed the author of the post saying no they don't have to be official then my apologies.
