THE INTRODUCTION AND EARY YEARS
General Comments
My purpose was to write up the Tiger scenarios but due to delays in that article I thought I would explore what turned up at my Desk over the year in a strategic way of what was available to play. “Re – Release” is the same as release in this article as it is what turned up this year – I buy all reprints.

Unable to do the Pusan Pack from the Kansas City Gamers (too hard to get) or Scott Holts SS pack as not printed yet. There are others missing here as well eg VaeVictis etc and any internet scenarios – I only stuck to the easy ones I could get a hold of – See Mark Pitcavage excellent Desperation Morale Website for a more detailed list

What the Scenario Prefixes are?

Action Pack 3 – AP
Starter Kit - S

Total Axis Pack – TAP
STONE – ST
Roman Glory – RG
Berlin Fall of The Third Reich – BFTR
Busting The Bocage – BtB
Arnhem Third Bridge – ATB
Witches Cauldron - WitC
Baraque de Fraiture - BdF

Recon By Fire – RBF
Furhers Fireman – FF
No Quarter- No Glory – NQNG
SAS Pack - SF

East Side Gamers – ESG
Friendly Fire Pack – FrF
To Battle by Air (1 and 2) – BBA
Schwerpunkt – SP
Rally Point – RPT
Break Contact – BC
Dispatches from the Bunker - DB

A lot To Play – Total Number of Turns
Turns – 1570 Turns

Cool Maps Released This Year
Maps
The Maps released this year were of variety of Historical maps from CH, MMP boards and FE producing boards
MMP (in AP3)
Bd 24,42 and 43

Critical Hit
Map- Parkers Crossroads
Map – Point Du Hoc Map
Map - Arnehem Bridge
Map – Town of Stone
Map CH – MC1, MC2, MC 5
Map – Nikitovka
Map – Oosterbeek Holland x2 up to the Rhine

Fanatic Enterprises
Map – FE 1 Country Board
FE2 Hills with a town

What we Did and Didn’t See
The new areas explored was the “Few Returned Pack- a big Italian Rout” from MMP, the Spaniards from Xavier in Le Ft, Budapest from FE, Captured Vehicles and Special Forces from HOB ( a very hard concept and well introdcued), and CH explored Italians in Russia, and the Famous Oosterbeek Perimeter as new areas. (Stone offensive, Parkers Cross Roads, Berlin and Arhnem is re-explored with better maps)
Also I think the Tampa chaps should be congratulated on the first attempt to integrate SK and ASL with one set of scenarios that can be used on both

I thought that the lack of PTO (even in 1945!) and particularly the Desert was obvious

Re: ASL in 2007 - A Study of the Scenarios- Pt3

1944 - A VERY GOOD YEAR WITH LOTS OF EFFORT THERE

1944
In the West we see the D-Day June point as an obvious central point for the scenarios and have some post D-Day breakout represented. Then we have the Market Garden and uniquely now some of the British Paras that did not make it to Arnhem and are dug in at Ooberst. Then we have some more Buldge battle to see. The East has its slow drive to Hungry and Poland represented sporadically.

Conclusions
This is just a presentation of data not a criticism or a representation of what I liked to play this year – mainly as I only played about 20 in total – not much compared to the pickings – Some contenders for this list only missed out because they were harder to get that usual down her in Australia. I would have liked to be more detailed at ties but this was a compromise. I would alos liked to have external checking but I felt that it was a big task to ask a friend and it was only going to go to the Forum level only.
I hope this helps someone,- I only used it to isolate the Tiger scenarios and where they fitted into the release etc etc. This is actually my searching document and in reality is a first draft (other things like planes I now go back and look for etc etc and do Tiger Tactic concepts).. You might of guessed I like PTO and Tigers but only the latter features often

Rob, nice summary! Do you have this on a spreadsheet you can upload and share? Reminds me of what we do in stamp collecting when analyzing the year's emissions from a particular postal agency.

Click GO ADVANCED and then hit submit. I find when the forum doesn't want to edit, that if I do that, it always seems to help.
